Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Audio Converter - MP3 & More (“the App”), provided by Muhammad Umer. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App is also licensed to you by Apple under the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s license on a point that Apple requires, Apple’s license controls that point.

1. The App

The App lets you choose audio or video on your device and convert it to formats such as MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC, and OGG. You can play, share, or save the converted file. Conversion is performed on your device. The App does not require an account and does not show ads. Audio Converter Plus is optional.

Output quality depends on the file you choose and the format and quality you select. Playback of some formats, including OGG, can sound imperfect on iPhone. The saved file can still be used in an app that supports that format.

A conversion may continue while the App is in the background. On newer versions of iOS, the system may show a progress notice for that job. If iOS closes the App before a batch finishes, files that already finished stay in the App, and the App can continue the unfinished files the next time you open it. We do not guarantee that every background job will finish without you opening the App again.

You can cancel a conversion that is still running. A file that was in progress is not saved. In a batch, files that already finished stay saved.

After a successful conversion, Apple may ask you to rate the App. That request is shown by Apple.

2. Purchases

Audio Converter Plus is optional. The weekly plan renews every week and may include a 3-day free trial when Apple shows that trial. The yearly plan renews every year and has no free trial. Lifetime is one payment and does not renew. The price is the price shown on the purchase screen.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. If you still have part of a free trial and you buy a subscription, that unused trial ends. Lifetime does not renew and cannot be canceled for a future period. Restore on the purchase screen puts an existing purchase back on this Apple ID.

3. Your files

You keep ownership of the files you import and the files the App creates. You are responsible for those files, including having the rights needed to convert, save, and share them. Do not use the App to convert or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

The App keeps a private copy of each file you select so conversion can finish, and so an interrupted batch can continue. That copy stays on your device. Your original in Photos or Files is not deleted. After a file converts successfully, the App removes its private copy.

We do not upload your audio or video to our servers. If you share a file or save it to the Files app, it goes only to the destination you choose. That destination’s own terms then apply.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App in a way that breaks the law, infringes someone else’s rights, or attempts to disrupt, copy, or reverse engineer the App except where the law allows it.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what stays on your device and what usage and crash information may be sent to Firebase. These Terms incorporate that policy.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that conversion will be uninterrupted, that every file will convert, that a background conversion will finish, or that a converted file will meet a particular purpose. We are not responsible for loss of a file caused by device failure, iOS closing the App, cancelling a conversion, deleting the App, or a failed conversion.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muhammad Umer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, files, or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid Apple for the App or for Audio Converter Plus.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

8. Changes and ending use

We may update the App or these Terms. The date at the top will change when the Terms change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the App or a feature at any time.
